John D. Moody, of Hanover, passed away June 22, 2021 at the age of 94. John was a US Marine veteran and later worked as a carpenter. He was a marine through and through and was one of the “chosen few”. He loved the Lord, his country, and his family. He had a tough exterior but tender heart.
John is survived by his wife, Edna (Flood) Moody; Jeff Allen and his wife Jessica, George Allen and his children Robert and Jeffrey; his siblings, David, Esther, and Helen, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree on Thursday, July 1st at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral procession will be leaving the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph at 10am. Late US Marine and Army veteran.
