Katherine L. Kourafas
Katherine “Kathy†L. Kourafas, a lifelong resident of Randolph, passed away on March 28, 2019 at the age of 67. Born and raised in Randolph, she was a graduate of Randolph High School. She worked for many years at IHOP in Randolph, The Napier Co,, Geoff Bodine Racing, North Carolina Subway Group, Talbots Corporate Office and RGIS-Retail Services Division. Kathy’s passion was auto racing throughout New England, making a great number of friends who all loved her.
Katherine was the daughter of the late Alex and Ruth Kourafas, devoted sister of Harry G. Kourafas of Randolph, and partner of William Jope of Randolph. She is predeceased by her siblings, Anne Baxter, and Alex, William, Peter, Timothy, and Joseph Kourafas. Also survived by her sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, April 13th from 6-9pm at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy’s memory in c/o Marjorie Kourafas, 61 Canton Point Rd., Canton, MA 02021.
