Ashley McCray

Ashley was born in 2006 on the 22nd of July at 5:30am. It was a full term pregnancy, and she brought smiles to everyone in the delivery room. Soon after, we discovered she had a rare brain disorder and it not only brought strength to our family, but understanding, compassion, & more love.

She was such a beautiful little girl with a face like her big sister Bri, beautiful curly hair like her mother Amarily, & long legs like her Dad Dre, who we often called “Princess”. Ashley fought through many surgeries and hospital visits with her mother Amarily by her side every step of the way. She couldn’t of had a better mom than Amarily. She endured many long nights and conducted a lot research so she could do everything possibly to fight for her first born daughter.

Even Ashley’s little brother AJ and little sister Luna helped with her care in their own way. AJ had such a caring spirit toward his sister it just seemed like they were connected on a spiritual level that was beyond understandable especially at his age.

Ashley impacted our lives and and so many others and we all are better people because of it. Ashley’s nurse Roseline who is more like family, took amazing care of her for 10 years of her life. Ashley had so many people who love and took care of her including her Aunt Marleni, Luz, & Nancy.

We have now gained an angel to watch over us as we go through life. We have physically lost her, but her spirit lives on within all of our hearts forever. Ashley couldn’t speak, but she communicated in other ways. She loved the color pink & loved getting dressed in pretty dresses. In Heaven she now guides her father Adrian, her Mother Amarily, her two sisters Brittany, & Luna, also her two brothers AJ, & Demad. She has many extended family members and friends of family that care about her as well. May our beautiful Ashley Carolyn “Princess” McCray live in heavenly peace.
