Uncle Al,
You were always the adult in the room. Yet you were always able to connect with your nieces and nephews. Time in the pool playing Jaws, a closet filled with fireworks that made our yearly 4th of July cookout become special. You always took an interest. A visit to Nannies, you inquired on what a 15 yr old was listening to on his Walkman . You placed the headphones on your head and stated that Led Zeppelin sounded pretty good. You understood how your actions could make a difference. You knew how to listen. I always enjoyed our conversations. I was always sincere when I told you how good you always looked & how you never seemed to grow old. Will miss you Uncle Al. God Bless and
Thank you.....
love your Nephew Leo

My deceased husband Richard (Dick) and I loved Al so much. It was ironic that Al developed kidney cancer about 1 year after Dick. Without knowing it, Al went to the same hospital, had the same awesome surgeon and had the same kidney removed with great results. I will forever be grateful to that surgeon, Dr. Ingolf Tuerk of St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. My heart and prayers go out to Al, his Family and his many Friends! Dick will be in Heaven waiting for you. RIP our dear Friend!

Dear Mary-Jo, Albie & Brian,

I am so sorry about your Dad's passing. My Mom & Al were together for so many years -- he was always so good to her and I will always be thankful he was in her life and mine as well. I remember some oh so funny times hanging out with them two -- during the holidays, hockey games, etc. Especially driving in the car to get to those games w/ directions!!

Your Dad was a beautiful sole . Prayers to you all.

Love, Lisa A. Gordon
