Robert Mike Lounge
Robert "Mike" Lounge, of Pembroke, formerly of West Bridgewater and Brockton, passed away at home with his wife and family by his side on January 5, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Maureen (Nehiley Schleehauf) Lounge. Loving father of Jason Lounge, Brian Schleehauf, Michael Schleehauf and wife Colleen, Jennifer Bunker and husband Michael, and the late Robert “Dylan†Lounge. Devoted son of Millie Lounge and the late “Lefty†Lounge. Dear brother of Carol Grass, Sandy Lounge and husband Jim Higgins, and the late Linda Nutt. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, his Nehiley family, and many nieces and nephews.
Mike worked at South Shore Oil Heat and Snow and Jones and Winnelson. He was a “tin knocker†by trade before moving to inside sales. He loved listening to the blues, hanging in the yard, feeding the birds, going to the lake in NH, and being with family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Cranberry Hospice for all their support and dedication.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Thursday, January 17th from 4-7pm followed by a memorial service at 7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment private.
