I was Ellen's neighbor and friend when we had very young children and I lived at 16 Vine Street. My twin daughters Michele and Rachael used to play with Adrienne. My son Jonathan used to play with John. Ellen was a rock; she worked crazy hours, and still had time to be there for me and play and watch my children. I used to do the same for her. We had a mutual admiration for each other. She was a true warrior, and I admired her greatly. I am truly saddened to hear of her passing. She touched my life when we lived nearby, and she touched my heart forever. There are not many people like her. I wish Ellen much peace. She is lucky to have been so loved by family, friends, and colleagues.

Ellen, to our family, was a friend and mentor of courage and positivity.. We grew up with the Childs family on the neighboring street. Ellen was also a nurse to our mother in her last days. We are so grateful for her nursing skills that helped us in our time of need..
Our deepest sympathy and condolences are with you ALL in these hard times.

David and family of Ellen, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Ellen was a sweet woman that I met through the Moose Lodge. Ellen made a great trivia partner. She will be missed by many. Rest in peace Ellen.

I was John's teacher in 3rd grade and had many wonderful interactions with Ellen over the years all three children attended the JFK Elementary School. She was always supportive of her children, their teachers, the school, and the town and she will surely be missed by many. My thoughts are with you all.
