Lillian M. (Ciasullo) Johnson

Lillian M. (Ciasullo) Johnson passed away with her children by her side after battling numerous health issues at the age of 83. She was a very strong woman with much dignity and pride and we loved her for those qualities.

Lillian was born and raised in Roslindale and married the love of her life in May of 1954. She worked for The Bank of Boston for many years. It was time for her to retire after nearly 20 years working at the Dorchester Court House.

She was the loving mother of Robert Jr. of Holbrook, Kevin and his wife Theresa of Walpole, Karen and Jim of Wilmington, Mark and his wife Christine of Canton and the late Diane Johnson. She was the cherished and loving "Nana" of Steven, Brian, Julie, Katie, Lauren, Pablo, Devon, Kerry, Jimmy, Alexa, Shayna, Pablo Jr and Lisany. She was the best friend and loving sister of Rita Julio of Foxboro and the beloved sister of the late Alfred Ciasullo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mom had the greatest sense of humor and made anyone who came in contact with her walk away with a smile even during her last days at the hospital. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. Especially during holidays and celebrations. She loved dining out, traveling, snowmobiling and long drives. She particularly enjoyed the White Mountain Region. These were just some of her favorite things to do with her soul mate and husband Bob, along with her sister Rita and her late husband Jack. During mom's quiet time she would love to read, do needlepoint, make puzzles and watch her soap operas. To name a few.

Mom was the glue that held our family together. She was the heart of who we are today. Thank you for being such an amazing mother! You can be with dad now and spend the rest of eternity together. We already miss you!

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Saturday, September 15th at 8:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Holbrook at 9am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Friday, September 14th from 4-8pm. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
