Dennis P. Harris
Dennis P. Harris, of Randolph, passed away August 12, 2018 at the age of 66. Born in Boston, Dennis was raised in Roslindale and had been a resident of Randolph for over 40 years. He graduated from Boston School for the Deaf in Randolph in 1967 and attended Norfolk Agricultural School in Walpole for 4 years. Dennis worked as an arborist for the Arnold Arboretum of the Harvard University for over 40 years, and was recognized as a “Harvard Hero†for his work.
Beloved husband of Nancy (Quill) Harris. Loving father of Bryan Harris, David Harris and Jennifer (Harris) Marsh. Devoted son of the late Patrick and Mary (Mitchell) Harris. Cherished brother of John Harris and Sarah Twowski. Also survived by his grandchildren, Dante and Jada Tylerbest, and Jaden and Zoe Harris.
Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Friday, August 17th at 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at St, Mary’s Church in Randolph at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, August 16th from 5-8pm. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis’s memory can be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or via www.dana-farber.org/gift.
