Marjorie A. (Vaughn) Good

Marjorie A. (Vaughn) Good, 84, of Randolph and North Falmouth, passed away on Wed, May 23, 2018 after a long battle with dementia. It is difficult to put into words all the ways she touched friends and family over the years. An incredible mother, Marjorie was a woman of few words, she taught through her actions. She modeled hard work, commitment, compromise, forgiveness and love which resulted in her raising 7 successful children and 28 remarkable grandchildren.
Marjorie was born and lived her whole life in Randolph, MA and enjoyed spending summers at New Silver Beach in North Falmouth, MA with her children, grandchildren and husband.

Marjorie was the beloved wife of Gerald P Good, Sr. Together they raised 7 children; Gerald Good Jr. of Norwell, Barbara Toohey of Hanover, Patricia Ryan of Hanson, Kathy Masinter of Arvada, Colorado, Maureen Finigan of Providence RI, Timothy Good of Hanover and Daniel Good of South Dartmouth. She was the proud grandmother of 28 amazing grandchildren. Marjorie leaves behind her sister Ruth and brother Richard and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was the daughter of the late Elmer and Lillian Vaughn both of Randolph. She will be missed by all.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Thursday, May 31st at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday, May 30th from 4-8pm. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers please give a child a hug, take the time to dance with your partner as often as possible and laugh and tell jokes as often as you can.
