Robert D. MacWha

On May 11th Robert D. MacWha of Randolph born in Somerville MA went on his permanent fishing trip. Bobby was the son of the late Alfred and Ellen (Ronan) MacWha. He is survived by his Sister Dorothy Locklear and her husband Shelby of Kansas, a brother Richard and wife Jan of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his very good friend Jack (Jabba) Grinham. In the early 70’s Bobby came into the Civita families lives. He quickly became part of the family, loved by all. Twenty four years ago he came to live with the Steward family. During these years he became family to Jack, Paula, John & Teresa.

Bob was an avid fan of the Rex Sox and the Patriots, spending many Sundays in his corner seat at the Randolph Elks. His greatest love was fishing and he took the boys when they were young, teaching them the secrets of fishing and where the best places were to fish.

He was a member of the Randolph Elks for 40 years. One of his greatest accomplishments was when he became Exalted Ruler back in 2011. He was recently elected Exalted Ruler for the 2nd time. This is where he made many life long friends.

On Wednesday May 23rd there will be a Celebration of Life 5-8 p.m. at the Randolph Elks 21 School Street. At 7 p.m. there will be a Lodge of Sorrow, would love to have all Elks involved.

Donations in Bob’s memory can be made to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation 49 Plain St. Suite 500 North Attleboro, MA 02760
