Winifred Lorraine (Brennan) McCurdy

Winifred Lorraine (Brennan) McCurdy, of Canton, formerly of Randolph, passed away March 28, 2018 at the age of 91. Born, raised, and educated in Boston, Lorraine was a resident of Randolph for 51 years. She worked at Reebok for 10 years and was a longtime Communicant at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph. Lorraine was an avid reader and enjoyed reading the newspaper and watching the news. Most of all, she was dedicated to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late William McCurdy. Loving mother of Anne Neilson of Brockton, William McCurdy of FL, Robert McCurdy and his wife Gala of N. Attleboro, Francis McCurdy and his wife Paula of Framingham, and the late Maureen McCurdy-Foley. Devoted sister of the late John, Francis, and Robert Brennan. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Wednesday, April 4th at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, April 3rd from 4-8pm. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorraine’s memory can be made to Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, Office of Mission Advancement, 637 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA 02135.

Bobby, Billy, Frank, Ann....sorry I couldn't make it to the services. I loved your mother like an Aunt, she was a great friend/cousin to me. Bobby/Gayla she loved you/your large family to pieces, and loved her Pizza,pizza nights with you! Billy she was proud of you, and spending time with you and your daughter....she loved Maureen's kids with all she had, and all of Ann's girls also, and they adored her. I will miss my friend, cousin, confidant my she rest in peace
