Eugene G. Anton
Eugene G. Anton, of E. Bridgewater, passed away February 28, 2018 at the age of 64. Born in Brockton, Eugene was raised and educated in Avon. He worked as a draftsman and was a lifelong Patriots fan.
Beloved son of Evelyn (Frabetti) Anton of Avon and the late Gerard Anton, Sr. Dear brother of Gerard Anton, Jr. and his wife Jane of Easton. Loving uncle of Christen Anton of Cambridge and Sandra Perez of Washington. Also survived by many cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Saturday, March 3rd from 3-5pm followed by a service at 5pm. Interment private.

II met Gene back in the 1970’s. In February of 1978 I got an apartment in Weymouth (Gaslight Village) and the Blizzard of 78 hit, crippling the state. Gene loaded up a toboggan with beer and walked from Avon to Weymouth, picking up friends along the way. We had a party that lasted for a week. I have a lot of great memories of Gene and I always enjoyed seeing him later in our lives. I will miss him and pray that he rests in peace.
