Marie R. (DiNapoli) Cesati
Marie R. (DiNapoli) Cesati, of Plymouth, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away September 30, 2017 at the age of 97. Born in Boston, Marie was raised and educated in Brookline. She had been a resident of Jamaica Plain for over 40 years. She loved spending summers at Priscilla Beach in Manomet until 1981, when she began living there year round. Marie spent the past two years living at Sunrise Braintree. Because of her love of knitting hats, they started a knitting group in her honor called “Marie’s Mad Hattersâ€.
Beloved wife of the late Richard R. Cesati. Loving mother of Judy Concannon and her late husband Frank of Randolph, Richard Cesati II and his wife Sherry of Hudson, NH, Donna Urciuoli of Taunton, and Melanie Selvitella and her husband Dave of Wakefield. Devoted sister of the late Mike and Dante DiNapoli. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Braintree.
Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph on Saturday, October 7th at 8:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 9am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, October 6th from 4-8pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie’s memory to St. Mary’s Vincent DePaul Charities, 22 Seton Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
