Thomas J. Fahey Jr

Thomas J. Fahey, Jr., of E. Bridgewater, formerly of Randolph, passed away May 10, 2017 at the age of 91. Born in Boston, Thomas was raised in Dorchester and Milton and graduated from Milton High School. He had been a resident of Randolph for over 50 years and was retired from the MBTA. Thomas loved the ocean, boating, and traveling. He was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and was known for his Irish story-telling.

Beloved husband of the late Rosemary (Tobin) Fahey. Loving father of Thomas J. Fahey III of HI, Richard Fahey of Braintree, Peter Fahey of AZ, Rosemary A. Fahey-Burlingame of Cotuit, Lisa E. Fahey of Marshfield, Amy M. Fahey of Mendon, Ellen V. Fahey of E. Bridgewater, and Leanne M. Fahey-Meader of Plymouth. Devoted brother of the late William Fahey and Nancy Norkus. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph on Wednesday, May 17th at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, May 16th from 4-8pm. Interment MA National Cemetery, Bourne. Late US Army Air Corp WWII Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas’s memory to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., W. Bridgewater, MA 02379.
