Miguel Tavares, of Randolph, passed away April 30, 2017 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Virginia (Benavides) Tavares. Loving father of Leonor Molina, Gracieth Tavares, Daniel Tavares, Elisabeth Lopes, Maria Conceicao Tavares, Gina Tavares-Deciest, Anizio Tavares, Maria Daluz Tavares, Fatima Pires, Maria Gorete Tavares, Nilza Vicente, Adozinda Silva, Benildo Tavares, Alceu Tavares, Artur Tavares-Deciest, Antonio Faust Tavares, Adilson Tavares, Carlos Alberto Tavares, Isabel Gomes, Eunice Tavares, and step-father of Marianella Bolware. Dear brother of Maria Daluz Tavares- Maria Delurdes, Fatima Tavares, Maria Teresa Alves-Deciest, Adozinda Rodrigues, Marcelo Medina, Domingos Medina, and Alcides Medina. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph on Thursday, May 4th at 9:45am followed by a funeral mass at St. Patrick’s Church in Boston at 11am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday, May 3rd from 4-8pm. Interment New Calvary Cemetery in Boston.
