Bradley Slypack

Bradley Slypack, age 70 passed away January 13, 2024. Predeceased by his former wife Laraine Slypack. Survived by his children, Kenney, Michele and Dawn, and their spouses; his 4 grandchildren, Richie, Michael, Ryan and Kaitlyn and spouses; along with 2 almost 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters, Bonnie, Debbie and their families. Predeceased by his parents Charlotte and Sidney Slypack.

Brad was raised and lived in Holbrook his whole life. He was the retired owner of Holbrook TV. In his younger days he loved football, being with friends, dirt bikes and motorcycles. He loved his family, cooking, music, shopping, watching the patriots and “sipping” his whiskey. He was an avid reminiscer, and replayed story after story of earlier days. Brad definitely marched to the beat of his own drum. He could be stubborn and liked things his way, but he was generous to a fault. He will be truly missed but is absolutely in a better place. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.

I met Brad when dating his daughter Michele. Brad was feisty and fun, sometimes cranky, but remained a gentleman at all times. Later, when I married Michele, Brad bit the bullet and got "dressed up" for our wedding. That was a big deal because if you knew Brad, he loved to wear his cutoff sleeveless shirts at all times. What I remember most is how Brad loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved asking about their lives; how they were doing. Brad was a decent, generous and kind man. Goodbye "Slimey." You will be remembered and missed. RIP
