Michael J. Sheehan

Michael J. Sheehan, of Holbrook, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2023 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Michele (Kane) Sheehan of Holbrook, formerly of North Quincy. Cherished father of Noelle Sheehan of Avon, Tiffany Sheehan and her husband Daniel Rogers of Holbrook, and Christian Sheehan and his wife Adrianne Tedeschi of Holbrook. Adored by grandchildren Colin Sheehan and Andrew Sheehan, both of Holbrook. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Thomasina Kane of Holbrook. He will be dearly missed by his cats Bailey and O’Brien. He was predeceased by his parents Maurice (Joseph) Sheehan and Margaret (Helen) Sheehan, and his sister Mary Ellen Sheehan.

Mike was a graduate of Northeastern University. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Before his retirement, he worked for IBM and Eastman Kodak as a Customer Engineer. He was a long-time member of the Fr. Francis X. Bransfield Council, Knights of Columbus. He was a past Grand Knight and served as the Financial Secretary for many years. He was also a youth soccer coach when his children were younger. In his spare time, he liked to play darts in the MMDL and was an avid Ham radio operator. Most of all, Mike loved spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed the many years of family ski trips to New Hampshire and Maine, and summer vacations spent at Lake Willoughby in Vermont. But the thing that brought him the most joy was being in the company of his two grandsons,

Funeral from the Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Friday, April 21st at 9:45am followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 20th from 4-7pm. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Late US Navy Vietnam Veteran.
