Geradline A. (Reilly) Hurd
Geraldine A. (Reilly) Hurd, of Holbrook, passed away March 10, 2023 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Alan Hurd. Loving mother of Scott Hurd of Holbrook and the late Stacey Hurd. Cherished sister of Thomas Reilly, Paul Reilly, June McCullough, Marilyn Moran, and the late James Reilly. Devoted grandmother of Reese Hurd. Geraldine worked at Friendly’s for many years.
Funeral from the Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Thursday, March 16th at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, March 15th from 4-7pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Geraldine’s memory to the American Diabetes Association via diabetes.org.

What wonderful, special memories I have of you from my childhood. In particular, visits to the Cape with the aunts, uncles, and cousins. "Big Bertha" pounding in the stakes for a game or horseshoes. Salamanders. Swimming and water skiing in the lake. Laughter, fun, and family. There was nothing like it. I can still see your smile. You will always have a special place in my heart and my memories. Love you.

Dear Scott and Reese, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom and Grandmother. I wish I could have come to pay my respects but I am working. Another Holbrook Matriarch gone. What memories I have of visits to your home and to Friendly's, us girls were treated like royalty! I am sure the reunion between Stace and your Dad was wonderful.
