Paul C. Bulman

Paul C. Bulman age 93 of Holbrook, passed away on Jan 12th, 2023 surrounded by family. Beloved husband to the late Eleanor (Hendrick) Bulman and son of the late Timothy Francis Bulman and Anna Marie (Kiley) Bulman. Close family and friends included the Pratt, McGrory, Herbert, Montgomery Families, and his dear friend Lorraine O’Connell. Paul graduated from Sharon High School and then went on to work at the Tribune at 18 years old. He worked in the mail room as a composer at multiple Newspaper Companies. He ended his career retiring from the Brockton Enterprise after 33 years of service. He was a member of the International Typographical Union. He was an active member and communicant at the St. Joseph’s Church in Holbrook, and he was a faith filled servant of the Lord. He was a Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was a smart man with a wealth of knowledge and loved to test others with trivia questions. He was quite the adventurer. He loved to jump on the bus in front of his home, or the T in Braintree and take off for the day. He especially loved to take the T to Boston to have a Poor Man’s Roast Beef at Durgin Park. He was a very dedicated loving husband to his wife Ellie. He often spoke about memories of trips to Miami, days at Revere beach, Boston and Lynn train rides, Nahant boat rides but the things that meant most to him, was spending time with his wife Ellie, family, and friends. He was always there for everyone. He made it a point to always show up and tried to be there for all in good times and bad. He often spoke about how important it was to love one another and that the best way to do this was to have a lot of understanding, patience, and forgiveness. Paul was a perfect example of this in the way he lived. Paul was so grateful for his caretakers, health care providers and his village that made sure he was able to stay in his own home for as long as humanly possible when he became wheelchair bound after his traumatic car accident in 2015. Paul served the Lord and others, and in the end, he knew and felt the love of those that helped and served him in his last years of life. A Memorial Mass will be held in Paul’s Memory on Feb 11th at 9am at St. Joseph’s Church in Holbrook, Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Memorial Mass. In leiu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul’s Memory to the St. Vincent De Paul Society Boston, 18 Canton Street, Stoughton, Mass 02072.
