Aurea Esther Colon Gonzalez
Aurea Esther Colon Gonzalez was born September 25, 1951, to the late Cruz Colon and Reyes Maria Gonzalez in Guayama, Puerto Rico but resided in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Aurea had three great loves - her beloved husband, Jose (Chegui) L. Gonzalez, her family, and her faith, whose principles she lived daily.
Aurea had four children plus three son-in-laws who she loved dearly Jose Gonzalez Jr., Glenda Ciampa (Marco Ciampa) Marry Gonzalez (Luis Santa) and Aury Gonzalez Sanchez (Jose Sanchez) also her precious grandchildren, Janelize, Angelique (Angie), Jose Eduardo, Luis Angel, Christian, Arianna, Isabella, and Isaiah.
Aurea brought so much joy, happiness, and laughter to our lives. She was known for her amazing cooking, pineapple cakes, and her beautiful hospitality among friends and family.
Aurea was a dedicated Jehovah Witnesses and was baptized on July 17, 1976 and she remained faithful until her last breath.
Although we are deeply saddened that we must live the rest of our lives in this system without her, we are comforted in the knowledge that very soon we will see our beloved mom, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and best friend again. - Isaiah 26:19
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Friday, December 9th from 5-8pm.
