Kevin O'Connor
Kevin O’Connor, of Pembroke, formerly of Randolph, passed away July 24, 2022 at the age of 71 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband for 41 years to Noreen (Kennedy) O’Connor. Loving father of Julie O’Connor and her husband Timothy Shanley, and son Michael O’Connor, all of Plymouth. Devoted brother of Karen O’Connor and her husband Bruce MacGregor of Brewster, Larry O’Connor of Cataumet, Jimmy O’Connor of Little Compton RI, and David O’Connor of Cataumet. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Lily.
Kevin was a graduate of Randolph High School. He was the owner and operator of New England Energy Savers for over thirty years until passing the business to his son. Kevin cherished working side by side with his son, even after retirement.
Kevin was an avid golfer and loved golfing with his lifelong friends. He loved spending time on the ocean in his boat the “Puddle Jumper.” Some of Kevin’s fondest memories were spent at his second home in Rotonda West, Florida. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his dry wit.
Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Saturday, July 30th at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 29th from 4-7 pm. Interment private.

Just found out about Kevin. Although I hadn’t seen him in years I find myself thinking about our growing up together in the Terraces. I’m thinking of all the hours spent on the sandpit and woods behind Curren. Playing ball and rolling down the sand hill. Playing in the woods a tree swing.
He was a big part of my youth and I’m sure he touched many others as he did me. I hope that you’ll find peace in your memories of the life you shared with him.
