Passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Anne was born and raised in Dorchester and currently resided in Weymouth. Anne’s greatest joy was spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her family and friendships were a special part of her life. Her ability to strike up conversations and make others smile and laugh truly made her the life of every party.
She was predeceased by her parents, William J. and Anne E. (Wermers), brothers Peter and John Barrett and sister Mildred Barrett. She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Collins and two beautiful daughters Mildred and Sarah Collins along with her brothers and sisters, William J. Barrett Jr. and his wife Marie of Milton, Patricia Wood and late husband Carl of Holbrook, Michael Barrett and his wife Cheryl of Stoughton, Stephen Barrett and his wife Marianne of Braintree, Julie Berberian and husband Michael of Webster, and Richard Barrett and his wife Kathleen of Hanover.
Annie will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, July 14th, 2022 from 4-7pm at Hurley Funeral Home 127 S Franklin St Holbrook, MA.

I met Annie many years back and I'll tell the pleasure was all mine.
She and her extended family, "sister , brother in law, husband nieces,
Nephews, I mean the whole gang of them are just
Wonderful people. They all became family to me
When I was invited to family Christmas party and
Annie saw me come in she was like Gail yay, come
sit with us. Always made me feel so welcome. Always
A smile on her face, never did I see her frown. Always
