He worked most of his life in the family oil business, Tempesta Bros Oil Company, alongside his dad, uncles, and cousins. When the business was sold, he continued the tradition with Jim Tempesta Oil. He recently retired and was looking forward to spending cold winters indoors and spending time with his son, grandson and family. Throughout his life he enjoyed following all Boston sports teams especially watching the Red Sox with his mother, also an avid sports fan. He enjoyed gardening, watching the cooking channel, trying his hand at new recipes and he made the best coffee! He was a longtime member of the Elks, the DAV and the Sons of Italy. He was well loved and will be sorely missed by his family and his friends, who meant the world to him.
