Gloria (Garaffo) Beers
Gloria (Garaffo) Beers 84, a resident of Randolph for 64 years, passed away May 5th after a lengthy illness.
Gloria and her late husband were known to many for years as part of a family that managed and operated The Blue Hills Ski Area. Gloria managed the kitchen. Throughout the years, she so enjoyed the relationships she made with her dedicated ski area employees and frequent customers and of course her family. She shared many hours of stories with ski area instructors and ski patrol past and present. She so loved all the kids and watching them ski, especially the ones learning for the first time. Gloria loved spending time with family and friends. For years, Aruba was her favorite spot of travel. Gloria would look forward to riding in parades with their '69 mustang, or playing dominos with her friends.
Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Stanley T. Beers. Loving mother to Donald T. Beers and his wife Janice M Beers of Avon. Devoted sister of Josephine Bailey of Stoughton and the late Sylvia Comeau and Thomas Garaffo. She is survived by her grandchildren Amanda, Kaylee, Katrina, and Thomas. Great-grandmother to Savannah, Miranda, Bryce, Brooke, Maya, Gabriella and Julianna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Friday May 13th, 2022, 4-7pm. Burial will be private.
