Joseph A. DeFrancesco
Joseph A. DeFrancesco, of Randolph, passed away December 21, 2021 at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Julie (Erwin) DeFrancesco. Dear brother of Steve DeFrancesco of Raynham, Michael DeFrancesco of Wareham, Kim Basili of Amesbury, and Lori Ann Hogg of Amesbury. Son of the late Richard and Paula (Comras) DeFrancesco. Also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Joe was a Randolph resident for over 50 years and was a laborer in the Local 223 union. Everyone that knew Joe loved him. He was genuinely an all-around great man. Joe would drop whatever he was doing to help someone, even if they didn’t ask for help. He enjoyed vacationing with his wife, especially to Aruba. He loved beaches, walking, listening to music, and sports.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Thursday, December 30th from 5-7pm followed by a service at 7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your preferred charity in Joe's memory is appreciated.

So sad to hear. Truly one of the nicest guys I've known. Joe worked with me years ago. He was an all around, kind hearted person, and I'm sure he left that impression on all who were fortunate to have met him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was an amazing man. I still remember your wedding day and how beautiful it was. My favorite photo of my mother, me, aunt and grandmother was taking there and has always been on my wall of my house. Joe will be missed by so many.

Sorry for your loss Julie, I’m going to miss you Joe.
Working with Joe was never a normal day, the first time I worked with him he told me be prepared to see things you’ve never seen anyone do before and for the next 10 years he kept his word. Some of our conversations a lunch were very interesting, stuff I would never thought about would come out of his mouth. Joe was always the first laborer I would request on jobs he would get the work done and entertain the crew. I have lots of great memories from our time together. I will miss you my friend

My first day in the union I was a nervous wreck. Then I met Joe the laborer. He made that day a lot easier. I’m going to miss Joe. He was a great guy
