Ruth E. (Sass) Doty Schneider, of Holbrook, passed away December 11, 2021 at the age of 87. Born in Brockton, Ruth was raised and educated in Randolph and was the owner of Charlie’s Florist in Randolph.
Beloved wife of the late Richard Schneider. Loving mother of David Doty of Holbrook, Stephen Doty of FL, Claire Roach of Stoughton, Donna Whynot of Norton, and Diana Bova of Holbrook. Step-mother of Bonnie Marasca of Easton, Barry Schneider and wife Joanne of Easton, Lacey Analoro and husband Mark of Brockton, Richard Schneider of Hanson. Sister of Dolly Seyfert of Randolph, Dorothy Macy of FL, Mary Flueckiger of OK, and the late Lawrence and George Sass. Dear grandmother of Scott Roach, Richie Roach. Joshua Doty, Nichole Candelora, Joeseph Bova, Mike Bova, Michelle Bova, Raymond Steele .Charissa Wade, Travis Marasca, Danny Schneider, Devyn and Michael Analoro, Jordan Marchewka and husband Joseph, Jared Schneider of Easton, Richard P. Schneider, and Jayke Schneider. Great-grandmother of Lilly Bova, Merchon Bova, Dominic Bova, Parker Doty, Ethan Stelle, Daniel Schneider, Jr. and Peyton Marchewka.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Thursday, December 16th from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, December 17th at 10am. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
