David J. Evans Jr
David J. Evans, Jr., age 53, of Avon, died October 25, 2021 after a brief illness. He was a Diesel Mechanic at Stop & Shop and most recently for the Town of Milton. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Julie (Murphy) Evans, his sons David (DJ) and Derek, his sisters Diane Dickman of Raynham and Lynne Sidok of Seekonk.
Visiting hours will be at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4-7pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Evans Children Education Fund at Abington Bank in Avon, 1 East Main St., Avon, MA 02322.

Dave will be truly missed. My heart Breaks for Julie, D.J. and Derek. He was always there when someone needed him without question. We had lots of laughs and difficult situations we survived.

I haven't seen Dave in a while, but he always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. Lots of memories of Dave from when we were kids. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Thoughts and prayers to his wife , children and family.
