My hearts goes out to my cousins for the loss of their mother. Her children were wonderful and did a great job taking care of their mother. Auntie Patsy was a wonderful woman. I have so many wonderful memories of her and all our Buckley family gatherings. My mother Claire and Aunt Patsy were sisters. Them being from a family of 11 kids was awesome. We have lots of cousins. All of our families always got together. Wow, did we have some great times. Our theme song is " If your a Buckley and you know it clap your hands." I smile remembering all the gatherings at different halls, kids christmas parties at our relatives the Carey's drinking fountain bar, ( sounds good, kids christmas party at bars,) Buckley reunion at the O'Neil's cottage, different parties at all our families homes, and open house on christmas eve at uncle donny's and auntie claires. We had a ball going away to the elm's with our mothers. Dressing up in crazy outfits at parties at the Diamont's and Creighton's houses.I could go on and on with all the wonderful buckley gathering but the best part was the people in our Buckley family that made it as good as it was. I have memories of my Uncle Al outside our house waiting in the car for aunt Pat to stop talking and get in the car to go home.( i have to admit i'm alot like her in that way) He would say boots and saddles. Aunt patsy was a sweetheart. She loved to have a good time and was a wonderful wife and mother. i'm sure others have other great memories of aunt patsy . Like aunt Patsy always said never say goodbye, say so long. I smile thinking of her and she will truly be missed but never forgotten. Thank you aunt Patsy and we love you. Say hello to my dad and all our wonderful family.

I have so many nice memories of being with your mother. I remember her and I talking for hours and laughing. She was loved by so many and she was so full of life!! Her children showed their love for her every day. They were there for her even toward the last part of her life when she did not remember them, they remained steady and loving toward her. She truly was an amazing woman. I am so very sorry for your loss. May she be in heaven dancing and singing and being taken care of by God. May her memory be a blessing.

I'll never forget our bus trip from the Drinking Fountain to Riverside Park. Patsy forever became Pasty during that trip. I always enjoyed any time I was able to spend with Pasty and her family. May she rest in peace.

My mother, Dorothy, was in residence at Standish Village with your mom. I spent many evenings at concerts at Standish sitting next to your mom, and like my mother, she definitely enjoyed her music! I only knew Pat from her life at Standish, but I will chose to remember her from that beautiful photo you have used here—she exudes warmth and kindness and is simply glowing (I think the photo is from a photo shoot they did at Standish and it’s just beautiful). I hope she has found peace, you have also found peace and your loss is replaced with only happy memories of better times. My thoughts are with you. Fondly, Anne Stein

I was very sorry to hear of Pats passing. I worked in activities at Standish and she was so full of wonderful energy, she loved bingo she was always my helping hand to gather the crowd. May she rest easy with her irish tunes and her memories of cornbeef and cabbage.
Love
Maryann
