My sympathy goes out to the entire family of Dottie DeMarco.
She was such a lovely soft spoken lady. I recently moved from Avon
After living there for 64 yrs. I would see Dottie around town and she
Would always say hello.
She will be missed by her family and friends.

Sending love to all the DeMarcos. My thoughts are with you. I have the dearest memories of your mother. The first time I encountered spaghetti was at your house at June's birthday party (Maybe we were 6?)! If only your Mom could have seen me living in India and eating unidentified street foods. I never would have been so adventurous without an alternative to Irish potatoes experienced in those early years! She was as kind as my own mother. I remember times she picked me up from school when I was sick and my Mom was at work. I also remember her on the sidewalk between our houses deftly stuffing some tissues into my not filled out bra before the junior prom! Only Dotti could do that! Hugs to you all

My friendship with Dottie goes way back when were both young and our children also. We were both involved in the Avon Community Theater and many school activities. Unfortunately as years go on
and our lives go in different paths we lose contact but Dottie was always on my mind. We had many happy years together. As I was recuperating from a serious operation to keep my mind alert I would recite in order the names of Dottie’s daughters. God is good I ran into Dottie & June a week before she passed and had the opportunity to tell her I love her. So Cindy

My Beloved Aunt Dottie,
Alas, your caprecious spark of life has abandoned it’s glow.
Free from your struggle with the iniquitous bonds of earth.
I can no longer delight in the sweet strains of your voice.
Or find comfort by fanning the glow of the ashes of hope.
Heaven provides a special place for souls filled with love.
Your tenderness and undying love can always be found ~
In the moonlit shadows that steal across my room as I weep.
In the night dreams that linger on, denying that you’ve gone.
In the soft breeze you sent through my window to comfort me.
In the soothing rain that mitigates the tears that cloud my eyes.
In the morning sun that consoles my sorrow as it dries my tears.
In the ebb of the tide, as it sanctifies my solitary footprints in the sand.
In the sweet song of a red cardinal that signals the start of spring.
In the unconditional love of a mother cradling a baby in her arms.
In the sound of the children playing in their world of make-believe.
In the memory of your encouragement during my pejoraitve years.
In the tranquil feeling as I recall all the happy family times together.
And each of life’s cherished moments that are the impetus of serenity.
I have petitioned the heavens to ordain for you a most stellar repose,
Filled with all the love peace and happiness, you so richly deserve.
With each rhythmic pulse of the tide, Time takes all that we love.
Yet, Time leaves us a tender mercy, Our most precious memories.
That they may provide us solace, consolation and peace,
Until we’re all united again ~With our family in Heaven,
Farewell Aunt Dottie.
Your Loving Nephew, Dickie

So sorry to hear of Dottie's passing. I first met Dottie when she and Johnny would visit his sister, Dell, in Newport, who lived in the apartment upstairs in our house. Dottie was such a pretty young woman, and so very nice.

My sincerest condolences to all the family.
