Dad you were the absolute best a girl could ask for. You were always there whenever any of us needed you. As the unofficial Mayor of Holbrook you represented the family well with a smile and a greeting for all who visited Union Cemetery. While you were a great Dad, you were an amazing Papa. Forging many memories with all of your grandchildren that they will always treasure. I will miss you every day.

Dick Jordan has lost his best forever friend -- from Holbrook, from Archie's, from that golden age of the 1950s. He and "Joey" loved discussing the hockey games, & they talked about them almost every week. We extend our sincere sympathy to the Duggan Family in their loss, and we know these two old pals will someday meet again.

I don't think I ever met Joe in person, but knew him well. I saw what kind of person he was by knowing his Daughter Michele, as we both served in Pack 56TH Cub Scouts in Holbrook. Joe was a few years older but we both serviced our Country in The US. Army about the same time. Well Done Joe.

Holbrook lost one of “great ones” and I for one will miss him. I worked for Joe at the Avon Sole for all of my high school summers and what a great boss he was. He taught me how to play, and lose every Friday, at liars poker in the shack, how drive a standard truck and most importantly, how to explain to my mother when I drove a dump truck into the side of the building that I wasn’t drunk!! My other lasting impression of Joe, as a call firefighter, hanging on the side of the Maxim Ladder 1 as I drove with my dad to a fire “way back in the day” with dad offering his ever present Miller High Life to Joe through the windshield. Pat and kids, the Callinan’s and Duggan’s will forever joined and I feel honored to have known Joe & Dad. Rest In Peace my good friend.
