Francis Gammon Jr
Francis “Frank” Gammon Jr. of Holbrook, originally from Rockland, passed away on July 3rd, 2021 at the age of 80. Beloved husband to Janet (Adams) Gammon. Devoted father to Rachel M. Gammon, Timothy J. Gammon, and Paul J. Gammon. Adoring dog-papa to Newton.
Frank was a devoted Catholic and Third Order Franciscan, primarily at St. Michael’s in Avon. He was a lifelong autodidact and avid reader.
He worked as an educator for many years.
Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St., Randolph on Friday, July 9th at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Michael Church in Avon at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, July 8th from 4-7pm. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers: Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, 40 Franciscan Way, Garrison, NY 10524.
