John D. Moody
John D. Moody, of Hanover, passed away June 22, 2021 at the age of 94. John was a US Marine veteran and later worked as a carpenter. He was a marine through and through and was one of the “chosen few”. He loved the Lord, his country, and his family. He had a tough exterior but tender heart.
John is survived by his wife, Edna (Flood) Moody; Jeff Allen and his wife Jessica, George Allen and his children Robert and Jeffrey; his siblings, David, Esther, and Helen, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree on Thursday, July 1st at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral procession will be leaving the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph at 10am. Late US Marine and Army veteran.

I knew John for many years as we were both active members of Colonial Hills Baptist Church. John loved the Lord and told everyone he could about Him every chance he had. He served faithfully in the church preaching when asked, leading the song services as needed, using his carpentry skills and so much more.
Our hearts go out to Edna and his family.
