Peter E. Gibbons
Peter E. Gibbons, 31 years old of Holbrook, MA passed away suddenly on May 27, 2021. Son of Peter and Joanne Gibbons. Son of Karalee Shields and James Shields. Grandson of Sharon & Mike Gibbons, Phil & Rose Showstead and Roberta Spinazola & Jay Learmonth. Brother of David Gibbons and his wife, Laura, Kristofer Gibbons and his wife, Kayla, James Hay and Ariana Hay, and Andrew Moran and his wife, Sarah. Peter is survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
Peter loved spending time with his best friends, Nana and Papa. One of his most cherished activities was feeding the ducks with his Nana at the Grove Lake. Driving his car – even when he didn’t have a destination – was one of Peter’s favorite things to do. He was fascinated by the architecture and ingenuity of the early 1900s. A fan of history, Peter loved the movie, The Titanic, and was always captivated by its story.
Peter was a graduate of Brockton High School and Cape Cod Community College.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 South Franklin Street, Holbrook, MA 02343. The Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately following in Union Street Cemetery.
