Earl F. Fisher

Earl F. Fisher, of Bridgewater, died April 22nd, age 94, due to failing health and COVID-19.
The son of William and Beatrice (Atkinson) Fisher and the third of four brothers, Earl spent his formative years growing up in Cambridge, MA.

In 1943 at the age of 18, he enlisted in the US Navy and served in the South Pacific during WWII. Following his honorable discharge from military service, he married Doris (Andrews) and they remained together for 50 years until her death in 1998. Earl was a long-time resident of Randolph and Avon while working at Symmons Industries for nearly 40 years. After retirement, he and Doris relocated to Rochester where he enjoyed many happy days fishing and hiking.

Survived by his brother Walter, he is predeceased by brothers William and Richard. He will be missed by his children, Earl Fisher (Joyce) of Taunton, Donna Reiser (Jerry) of Bridgewater, and Dianne Gaughan of Walpole; six grandchildren Charles, Julie, David, Corinne, Ashley, and Christian; and two great-grandchildren, Hope and Sophia.

Following cremation, Earl will be interred at Central Cemetery in Randolph. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Donations in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
