Mary T. Wilson

Mary T. Wilson, formerly from Randolph, passed away February 10, 2021 at the age of 81. She is survived by her best friend, Ruth Pasteris of Halifax, MA.

Mary grew up in Fall River and worked many years for National Grid until her retirement. Mary and Ruth traveled whenever possible. Kennebunkport, Maine was her favorite place to vacation. They loved listening to music at Irish pubs and taking their nieces and nephews to the beaches on the Cape often.

Mary enjoyed walking with friends and neighbors. She loved dogs, especially Annie Swanson, the Golden Retriever. She also liked to visit Foxwoods for a fun day with friends, listen to country and Irish music, as well as laugh with friends and family.

She was a sister to the late Walter, Edward, Joseph, Thomas, Frankie Wilson, and Alice Francouer. She is survived by her siblings Maureen Cabral, of Fall River, and William Wilson of Norton.

Mary had many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews that she very much enjoyed spending time with. She will be missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Monday, February 15th from 9:30am-10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Covid-19 precautions will be in place. A private funeral mass will follow at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph. All are welcome to the burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Randolph at 12pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation via www.alz.org.

So many many good memories with both Aunties! She was always there if anyone needed anything! Lots of safaris at the beach, sleep overs at her apartment, and family parties! Love and miss her very much, but know she is at peace now ( or whooping it up in Heaven lol)!

My deepest sympathies to Mary's family. I believe I first met Mary while working either in the Brockton or West Bridgewater office of EUA which later became National Grid. I was fortunate to have had a career of 34 years. We all worked hard but also had a lot of fun. I hope your memories are of comfort to you in the days ahead. Take care and be well.

Aunt Bunny was the the most caring person I have ever known. She loved her family, and supported many emotionally through difficult times. I am heartbroken that she is gone, truly an angel to a lot of people. My sympathies to Aunt Maureen and Uncle Bill . The family has lost a true treasure.

Ruth and Maureen:
My deepest sympathies on your loss. Bunny and I had been good friends in our youth, but as time goes on we all move in our own directions. I was so sorry to read the obituary in the Herald News. She had been such a sweet person. May she rest in peace, in God's love.
