Mary L. (Madden) Roycroft
Mary L. (Madden) Roycroft, of Buzzards Bay, formerly of Randolph, passed away January 27, 2021 at the age of 79. Mary was born in Newton to the late Vincent and Anna (Mulligan) Madden. She was a very caring person and wanted to make an impact on people’s lives, so she became a Registered Nurse later on in life. She raised her family in Randolph before moving to Buzzards Bay. Mary liked taking walks and riding her bike along the Cape Cod Canal, gardening and traveling to the Caribbean with her husband. Her greatest love was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
Beloved wife of Carl Roycroft. Loving mother of Carl Roycroft, Jr. and his partner Joanne Cobb, Patricia Melchionda and her husband Mark, Lynda Bernasconi and her husband James, and Christine Roycroft. Devoted sister of Jane Madden of Worcester and the late Paula Madden. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
All services are private. Arrangements handled by the Hurley Funeral Home, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory can be made to the Center for Immunology and Inflammatory Diseases, Mass General Hospital, 55 Fruit St., Boston, MA 02114.
