Evelyn M. (Frabetti) Anton
Evelyn M. (Frabetti) Anton, a longtime resident of Avon, passed away January 27, 2021 at the age of 92. Born, raised, and educated in East Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Venusto and Maria (Sacoccia) Frabetti. She was a graduate of the E. Bridgewater High School class of 1946 and resided in Avon for 62 years. Mrs. Anton was an Avon High School cafeteria worker for 35 years, retiring in 1997.
Beloved wife of the late Gerard F. Anton. Loving mother of Gerard Anton, Jr. and his wife Jane of Easton and the late Eugene Anton. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Christen Wittman of Easton, MA and Sandra Perez of Jacksonville, FL; 2 great grandchildren, Maya and Colson Perez of Jacksonville, FL; her sister, Esther Sweeney of E. Bridgewater; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 1st at 11am at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Avon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Covid-19 precautions will be in place. Arrangements handled by the Hurley Funeral Home, Randolph.

My aunt Evelyn joins her husband and mother and father and sisters and brothers in a better place. I have many wonderful memories of her with her family on Grove St. in East Bridgewater. She was also so kind to me even though I was a punk kid. Italian women didn't have it easy when she was growing up....the males were kings. I was hoping to call her on her birthday on the 28th but I missed it. Only her sister Esther is left out of that big family. Aunt Evelyn, put in a good word for me up there, as a last favor. Mrs Anton was the nicest lady in cafeteria. Always smiling. My mom drove school bus in Avon and coffee breaks for the drivers was at the high school cafeteria so she knew me before I started high school

Sorry to hear about Mrs.Anton. I graduated with Gerry Jr. Mrs. Anton always gave me extra helpings in High School lunches. She was a lovely lady . RIP
