Mildred 'Millie' F. Forgione

Mildred “Millie” Frances Forgione, beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Forgione Sr., passed away October 19, 2020 at the age of 89 surrounded by family. She and Stanley J. Forgione Sr. moved from East Boston to Randolph in 1970 where they lovingly raised their family for 50 years. Millie worked as a schoolteacher for Head Start several years before retiring and serving as a Randolph Public School’s lunch lady, where she enjoyed helping children learn how to count their lunch money. Millie was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. She took the greatest pride in raising her grandson from infancy to adulthood and then becoming the best friend and hero to her great-grandson.

Millie was the loving sister of Marjorie Halford Silvester, dear mother of Stanley J. Forgione Jr., Peter T. Forgione, and Angela M. Forgione, devoted grandmother of Eric J. Forgione, and treasured great-grandmother of Anthony J. Forgione.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Monday, October 26th from 4pm-7pm. Respecting the COVID-19 restrictions, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral service will be held privately with family.

It gives us great comfort knowing you’re no longer in pain, sorrow that we will no longer meet in the physical world. Your love was one of a kind and a love that Anthony and I will cherish forever. Until we meet again ❤️

They don’t build them like this woman anymore she was the last of her kind. She treated all of us like we were one of her children. Never met a stranger always a friend. She was a truly all heart. I’m going to miss seeing her sweeping the driveway, telling me no on helping her with groceries into the house or even shoveling the driveway in the winter time sitting on her porch in the summer time till the sun goes down. Doing her gardens, her meals and baking, seeing the oceans with her but most importantly she loved everyone unconditionally is effortlessly. Mildred will be severely missed. May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
