John H. Blanchard
John H. Blanchard, of Brockton, passed away September 24, 2020 at the age of 78. Born in Boston, John was raised and educated in Cambridge and had been a resident of Brockton since 1975. He worked as a machinist at State Street Bank in Quincy for 33 years. He also worked the events at the Fleet Center and Gillette Stadium and was an avid sports fan. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Rowan) Blanchard. Dear brother of Barbara Gorski of FL. Brother-in-law of William Rowan of Holbrook and Josephine Hurley of Melrose. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Thursday, October 1st from 9:30-10:30am followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery, Brockton at 11am. Covid-19 restrictions will be in place.
